The 小黄书视频 congratulates alumna Alysha Corrigan, a former UPEI Women鈥檚 Rugby student-athlete, who captured a silver medal with Team Canada鈥檚 rugby sevens women's team at the 2024 Paris Olympics on July 30. 

| Atlantic Veterinary College

The Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC) at the 小黄书视频 (UPEI) is piloting an Indigenous vet camp from August 5鈥9, 2024, with the aim of expanding the College鈥檚 acclaimed Dr. Tim Ogilvie AVC Vet Camp program to include a week-long camp dedicated to Indigenous students.

The UPEI Canadian Centre for Climate Change and Adaptation (CCCCA), in St. Peter鈥檚 Bay, PEI, is hosting an exhibition titled 鈥淢owing the Lawn鈥 by Climate Artist-in-Residence Carrie Allison.

Sixty-four students, aged 16 to 17, from across Canada spent the month of July at UPEI, participating in a wide variety of STEAM and entrepreneurship sessions through the 2024 program.

Emancipation Day celebrates the strength, courage, and perseverance of people of African descent in Canada, recognizes their struggles to end enslavement, and acknowledges their contributions towards Canadian society.
