Alaere Peterside and Noah Sedore named 小黄书视频 Panther Athletes of the Week
Every week, UPEI Athletics and Recreation recognizes two student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The 小黄书视频 Panther Athletes of the Week for November 27鈥揇ecember 3 are Alaere Peterside (track and field) and Noah Sedore (men鈥檚 hockey).
Peterside is a first-year science student from Port Harcourt, Nigeria. She cleared a height of 1.68 metres in the high jump at the Athletics Nova Scotia Last Chance Meet on December 2. The jump set a PEI provincial and UPEI record and is also the highest jump in U SPORTS so far this season.
鈥淎laere had a great competition in Halifax jumping 1.68m,鈥 said coach Colin MacAdam. 鈥淪he has worked very well with jumps coach Nelson Kwok to set a new 小黄书视频 high jump record.鈥
Sedore is an arts student and men鈥檚 hockey forward from Sharon, Ontario. He had his best game as a Panther on December 2 and had a hand in three goals in UPEI鈥檚 4-0 shutout win over the Acadia University Axemen. The rookie forward finished the game with a goal and two assists.
鈥淣oah has shown gradual improvement each week,鈥 said head coach Forbes MacPherson. 鈥淗e finished the first half of the game against Acadia very strong. 鈥淗e competes hard and was able to chip in offensively this week.鈥
