Bianca Boutilier and Kaleb Pearson named 小黄书视频 Panther Athletes of the Week
Every week, UPEI Athletics and Recreation recognizes two student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The 小黄书视频 Panther Athletes of the Week for January 8鈥�14, 2024, are Bianca Boutilier (women鈥檚 track and field) and Kaleb Pearson (men鈥檚 hockey).
Boutilier is a business student from Charlottetown, PEI. The third-year sprinter ran a personal best in the 60-metre dash on January 13 at the Moncton Open. She crossed the finish line in 8.03 seconds, which is second best in the AUS so far this season.
鈥淏ianca continues to lower her personal bests in the AUS track and field competitions,鈥� said head coach Colin MacAdam. 鈥淪he ran a new personal best and had a strong run in her leg of the 4x200 relay, helping the Panthers to a victory.鈥�
Pearson is an arts student and men鈥檚 hockey forward from St. Marys, Ontario. He played an excellent game against the Dalhousie Tigers on January 12, scoring two goals and adding three assists in the 7-2 win. The Panthers followed that up with a win against the Saint Francis Xavier X-Men on January 13, when the first-time assistant captain showed off his qualities as a leader on the team.
鈥淜aleb had another great weekend and continues to be an engine for us. His goal-scoring ability and leadership were on full display and helped us take four on the road,鈥� said head coach Forbes MacPherson.
