Every week, UPEI Athletics and Recreation recognizes two student-athletes for their achievements and contributions to their respective sports. The 小黄书视频 Panther Athletes of the Week for January 2鈥�7, 2024, are Sarah Forsythe (women鈥檚 hockey) and Kamari Scott (men鈥檚 basketball).

Forsythe is a science student from Riverview, New Brunswick. The third-year goaltender was great in the net this weekend, allowing just three goals in two games. She earned a win against Universit茅 de Moncton Aigles Bleues on January 6 after turning aside 35 of 37 shots and followed that up with a 15-save performance the following day in a 1-0 loss to Dalhousie University.

鈥淪arah played really well during both games this weekend,鈥� said head coach Sean Fisher. 鈥淪he made some highlight reel saves early Saturday and gave us a great chance to win Sunday. Sarah is a tough competitor and a great teammate, so I鈥檓 happy she's getting this recognition.鈥�

Scott is a business student and men鈥檚 basketball guard from Malton, Ontario. In two games against the University of New Brunswick Reds, he averaged 24.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals per game, while shooting an efficient 50.0 per cent from the field. The Panthers lost the first game on January 5, but salvaged a win the following night.

鈥淜amari had another fantastic weekend and was playing at a very high level,鈥� said head coach Darrell Glenn. 鈥淗e scored, defended multiple positions, and created easy scoring opportunities for his teammates.鈥�
