Katimavik National Experience Program

Katimavik’s National Experience is an amazing opportunity for Canadian citizens, permanent residents or landed refugees ages 17-25 who are looking to enhance their lives through creative learning, community engagement and self-discovery. During this 22-week program, groups of 11 diverse youth will have the opportunity to discover 2 Canadian communities. Throughout this time, they will contribute up to 32 hours of valuable volunteer work a week, engage in Truth learning and active Reconciliation, and develop competencies related to Civic Engagement, Employability and Self Determination.
This is a fully funded opportunity where participants’ travel expenses, living accommodations, food costs, and daily needs are covered. All they will need to bring is their dedication, empathy, and commitment to making a better world!
