Dr. Libby (Elizabeth) Osgood, associate professor in the Faculty of Sustainable Design Engineering (FSDE), has been named a 2024 3M National Teaching Fellow by the Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (STLHE) and 3M Canada.
Dr. Derek Lawther is one of the pillars of teaching in UPEI's Department of Physics and the undergraduate Science programs. He is a long standing member in Physics, and a major portion of his teaching is directed towards life sciences students in courses such as Physics for Life Sciences I and II, and Physics of the Human Body.
Dr. Braithwaite was nominated for the prestigious award by UPEI colleagues, who describe her as exceptional and someone who works with "infectious and generative joy to build questioning and inclusive communities."
